Necklace Type for your Neckline

Follow simple rules to choose a necklace to compliment your neckline.

1)     Do not allow your necklace to compete with your neckline.  The necklace should be shorter or longer than the neckline.  It should never fall in and out of your shirt

2)     Wear necklaces that fill in the exposed neck area but stay away from your cleavage. .  Keep your necklace two fingers above your cleavage in a skin exposed top.

3)     Pay attention to your body.  If you have a large or short neck; never wear a choker.  It will only make your neck appear larger.  Long and layered necklaces make you appear thinner.  If you have a large frame; wear large bold necklaces.  If you are teeny tiny framed; wear more delicate pieces.

4)     If you wear a bib or statement necklace; wear small earrings.

What Jewelry Should You Wear to Work?

Jewelry should show your personality, style, and accentuate your features.  Jewelry should be fun.  That being said; office jewelry should be appropriate for the office.

Unless you are Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds; you don't want your jewelry to distract people.

Office jewelry should not be overpowering, distracting, or loud.  It shouldn’t be boring either.

Classic pearls are probably hands down the best office jewelry.  Pearls will tone down redness in the skin, and bring out luster and glow.  They are beautiful and classy.  Pearl necklaces, earrings and bracelets are office appropriate.
